Be a doll and let us break it down for you...

General Information

  1. Q: Where is Broken Doll Studio located?
A: We are located at 3110 E Fort Lowell Road next to The Egg Connection.

  2. Q: Is the studio open to the public?
A: Not quite - Broken Doll Studio is a private, members-only space. All studio access is member-exclusive and by appointment only. We don’t allow walk-ins, but we’re happy to give you a peek during select open house events.

  3. Q; Is there an age requirement to attend the studio?
A: Yes. All participants must be 18 years of age or older to attend classes, open pole sessions, or studio events. This policy ensures a thoughtful environment where adult students can train, grow, and express themselves comfortably.

  4. Q: What makes Broken Doll Studio unique?
A: Broken Doll Studio stands out for its commitment to helping students discover and develop their unique style of pole dancing - whether that be more artistic, athletic, or somewhere in between. We provide ample and easily accessible open pole hours, giving students the time and space to explore their personal movement journey at their own pace. Our focus on personal exploration, combined with a supportive and inclusive environment, makes us a truly special space for pole dancers of all levels.

Booking and Policies

  1. Q: How do I book a class or studio time?
A: You can book classes and open pole sessions directly through our app, powered by Glofox. Simply download the app (“Broken Doll Studio” in your app store), create an account, make a purchase, and book your spot!

  2. Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We understand that life happens! For most classes, cancellations made at least 12 hours in advance will not incur a fee. Cancellations made after this period will incur a cancellation fee. The fees vary according to the class length, and these can be found in your membership terms/conditions form. No-shows will result in loss of class credit. Members with a chronic illness waiver can cancel up to 6 hours before class without penalty. Late cancellations within the 6-hour window will incur reduced cancellation fees for chronic illness members.

Memberships and Pricing

Visit our Pricing page for more details.

  1. Q: Why do you have different prices for 75-minute versus 90-minute classes, and can I upgrade my Core Series credits for Signature Series classes?
A: Our 90-minute classes offer extended instruction time and an opportunity for solo exploration, allowing for more in-depth discovery of choreography and personal technique compared to our 75-minute classes. The pricing reflects the additional time and value provided in these longer sessions.

To ensure that Signature Series classes are accessible, we offer the option to upgrade any Core Series class credit to a Signature class credit for a small fee of $8 per class. This allows students to enjoy the benefits of a Showcase class without committing to a full Showcase membership.

Our best value is our $299 unlimited pole membership (The Dollhouse Pass). Members pay a premium for not having to keep track of credits!

Classes and Open Pole

  1. Q: What should I wear to class?
A: At Broken Doll Studio, we support self-expression and want you to feel confident and comfortable in class. We maintain a dress code that prioritizes both personal comfort and safety. For most classes, we recommend shorts and a tank top to allow for safe pole grip. Heels are encouraged but never required. Please avoid lotions or jewelry that may interfere with grip or damage equipment.

Note: Broken Doll Studio is an 18+ space, ensuring a supportive and mature environment for all participants.

  2. Q: Do you offer private lessons?
A: Yes! Please check out our Private Lessons page for more information.

  3. Q: How do I know which class level is right for me?
A: Each class description includes recommended skill levels. If you’re still unsure, feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll help you choose a class that aligns with your experience and goals. Beginners are welcome in many of our offerings, including Beginner Tricks and CXNTY Choreo.

  4. Q: Can I come to open pole if I’ve never taken a class before?
A: Open Pole Playground is designed to supplement in-class instruction or support students who are following structured programs from reputable instructors or virtual studios. While an instructor will always be present in the building during Open Pole hours, these sessions are not instructor-led and are intended for self-guided practice.

For safety reasons, we strongly discourage those with no prior pole experience from attending Open Pole. If you're brand new, we recommend starting with a structured class - like Beginner Tricks - to build a strong foundation before joining Open Pole sessions.

All participants will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging the unique risks of self-guided practice.

  5. Q: How do I access the studio?
A: Once you sign up for your first class or book a studio tour, you’ll receive a welcome email with everything you need, including the keypad access code for the front door. This passcode grants access during your scheduled classes or open pole sessions. Broken Doll Studio uses a keypad lock system to ensure our space remains secure and exclusive to members. This helps us create a safe, welcoming environment and prevents unauthorized visitors from entering the studio during business hours. Please do not share your access code with others. Access is monitored, and respecting this policy helps us keep the studio secure for everyone.

Safety and Inclusivity

  1. Q: Is the studio open to beginners?
A: Absolutely! We welcome students of all levels. Our beginner-friendly classes are designed to help you build confidence and foundational skills.

  2. Q: What are your policies on inclusivity and safety?
A: Broken Doll Studio is committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. We have a zero-tolerance policy for bullying, bigotry, or exclusion, and we accept all gender expressions. We also offer a chronic illness late-cancel policy to accommodate members with health challenges.
